#1 Polin - Bridgerton

Did you really anticipate anyone else being at my top spot? Friends to lovers....Swoon! They have my heart, soul, and life. I literally love a girl who knows what she wants and a man who loves the fuck out of her like no other so this is like porn and comfort. Give me everything tonight and more!

#2 Captain Swan - OUAT

If you aren't going to give me friends to lovers, I'll move over to Enemies and find my kind because holy hot out of hell, there is nothing better than Captain Hook and his smolder winning over Emma Swan. Fuck that man can burn! Years after that show ended and I can still sit in them and ruminate and catch myself on fire.

#3 Clois - Smallville

There have been a lot of different Lois and Clark's out there, but none have been Erica Durance and Tom Welling. I've never been so happy and angry with a show in all my life. I used to wish so much against Lana Lang that I am embarrassed my own behavior. But I truly loved the banter and way these two brought these characters to live. It was marvelous.

#4 Reylo - Star Wars

Being a Reylo shipper was like being sentenced to death and hell all at the same time for many years. We were bullied, tortured, shat on, and then given everything we wanted in 30 seconds only for them to fucking KILL HIM after a sacrifice. I have never both smiled, cried, and then curled into a ball in a theater so quickly that I wanted to die before. Even my family ridiculed me. It was torture but I still live there. I still ship it and you cannot make me stop!!

#5 Fitzsimmons - Agents of Shield

The brilliant science couple put through so much that even they thought they were cursed. Pushed to find each other across time and space, kidnapped into a matrix, forced to fight one another, half the couple killed, duplicate versions of themselves, but champions of the hug, star crossed and so full of love. Friends to lovers, he fell first, she fell harder and GOD I LOVE THEM YOUR HONOR!

#6 Starpollo - Battlestar Galactica

A couple who knew how to tear out my heart, throw it to the ground, and then trample it with their feet to ashes. While Lee and Kara were not destined to end up together, they damn sure made it hard not to want them to find a way. They truly loved each other more than anyone they were with in the show, but guilt always found a way to fuck that up for them. God it hurt to love you two.

#7 Romanogers - Marvel Universe

Let's talk crack ships because oh how they break your heart. But it is glorious. This one is mine. I will forever love Nat and Steve and I will live in the space and time that they were on the road together living their lives without a banner. Because you can't tell me what they got up to! I refuse to believe you! But let's not talk about how it all ended because my heart still hurts and I don't like to talk about it!

#8 Finchel - Glee

Since I'm already ripping my heart out, let's go all the way with it. Finchel has always been that ship that tears my heart to shreds. I was all in from the characters to the actors and I'll never honestly get over it. I'll probably always bleed Finn and Rachel, Cory and Lea. And I'll never be able to talk about it to normal people. It was something I lived, breathed, and honestly part of me died with. So I think that's enough of that.

You can call this whatever it is, some say crack ship, I say...otherwise. It's my ship of ships for TWD. It's my coming home ship. Because that's what they are to each other. They are love. No one tell me otherwise, I live there, I love there. So do they. Deal with it.

#10 Roschel - Friends

Look, say what you want, but I stayed home on Thursday nights just to watch whether they would or wouldn't. Nothing grabbed me like these two. They were lobsters, they were on a break, I didn't give a fuck what it was, only that they had me in a chokehold and that's what I realized what shipping was. Because dammit, I wanted whatever feeling it was. And thus the 9 people above because the passion I sought. So bless it, they needed to be here.

another thrilling spirealm update

henlo my friends yes it's that time once again where i tell you what is happening on the bizarrely named drama "the spirealm," i am at episode 25 having shotgunned it all weekend and i have thoughts, opinions, and a gabillion screencaps of ruan nanzhu looking stricken, i finally had to stop taking them because he has the exact same face of devastated yearning in all of them and i was filling up my cloud drive. spoilers ahoy! [parts one and two are here if you even care]

as just mentioned, ruan nanzhu spends his time looking either 1) icily indifferent (when people who aren't qiushi are talking to him and/or dying in front of him, to his vast annoyance) or 2) torn asunder by pangs of desire (whenever he's staring at qiushi, who's babbling obliviously about science or clues or absolutely nothing of any importance whatsoever). here is a representative screencap but he has this look on his face pretty much continually, like he's just been hit by a car. a car of love.

it makes me put my head in my hands and scream quietly, i haven't seen a BL actor who understood the assignment this well since zhang xincheng or maybe even z1l. (who all clearly not only read the novel but underlined it, highlighted it, and stuck in colored post-it notes.) when not busy with adoration, he swans around being magnificent in a frockcoat like he's edward rochester, while lin qiushi trails behind him wearing a fit he got out of the goodwill box in his college dorm.

in spite of being besties with a literal fashion icon, at no point does it ever seem to occur to lingling "hm maybe i should dress a bit more formally for my imminent demise inside the doors"—no, instead he proudly wears his ratty sweatshirt with holes in it. which i sort of think might belong to huang junjie. idk maybe qiushi trusts it, and feels safe in it, hey look at that i made it sad.

massive power couple energy. also notice how their outfits are exact black-and-white negatives of each other, the harper's bazaar wedding photoshoot would have been so goddamn lit.

taking a brief moment for a shoutout to this guy. chen fei i don't even know what your fate will be but i already know you deserved better. not only do you patch everyone up with your veterinary knowledge, but i have seen your unrequited love. it did not go unobserved. you would have been a great partner, you're unimpressed by everything and drink your soy milk with chilling apathy. i'm real sorry the theatre gay didn't love you back. you're too similar i guess.

back to lin qiushi who has the worst case of main character energy since harry freaking potter. somehow the game is about him??? he has trauma??? none of this was in the novel and i'm just pretending it's not happening until it becomes impossible to ignore. in the meantime he continues to sympathize with door ghosts because he's just that nice of a guy. (EXCEPTION: nanzhu literally murdered two competitors bc they threatened his darling, and lin qiushi helped him cover it up. i was appalled for like 5 minutes then i shrugged. it's a cutthroat game, the doors change people. also it's like captain mal used to say: if someone tries to kill you, you kill 'em right back.) i have big Theories about what is fixing to happen but for now i will end by relating that lin qiushi has gone into a door alone, because he wants to butch up and be a better partner for ruan nanzhu. and that would be a great idea and super helpful except that nanzhu IMMEDIATELY WENT OUT OF HIS MIND WITH BLIND TERROR. outwardly of course he gives no signs of this (other than hiring someone to protect his fragile boyfriend, which, if lingling figures this out, ruan nanzhu will be sleeping on the sofa forever).

here he is pushing food around his plate miserably at lingling's funeral pre-solo-door party. everyone is having such a fun time.

and here he is standing in front of the door waiting like a dumb wounded animal. i have a feeling if lin qiushi doesn't emerge at 15 minutes on the dot, nanzhu will simply expire on the spot, like a wolf separated from its mate. maybe that's the end of the spirealm JUST KIDDING, we still haven't gotten to the part where they're on either side of a different door wailing at each other. i really need lin qiushi to stop being such a cheery equanimous little frat boy and START SUFFERING, can we get some mutual pining up in this bitch. (also i need his hair to change in the traditional BL post-wedding hairstyle alteration because i can't remember at this point if huang junjie even HAS a forehead under that vast curtain of bangs)

to sum up, we've had a) sexy handfeeding of lychees b) tender cat fur removal from face and c) stalking your pretty boyfriend aggressively against the wall so you can…offer him a packet of disinfectant. in the novel of course nanzhu bites him and yes xia zhiguang absolutely knows that's what he's supposed to be doing here, we love to see it.

oh and also d) "i'll protect you. i'll protect you forever."

SOON: THE THRILLING CONCLUSION. IT'LL BE SO FUCKING SAD. PS unrelated to any of this but the OST SLAPS and i sing along every time now, that opening song is an unskippable cut scene of a banger

Once Upon A Time: Captain Swan: Emma Swan/Killian Jones

“You weren’t tempted by the prospect of immortality? Not even once?” Killian asked as they made their way out of the caves.

“The idea of living forever? Watching everyone I love die?” Emma shook her head “No. I’ve seen what living for centuries has done to you and Gold. You, at least, were in Neverland, surrounded by your crew. No one around you even aged. Gold never formed a bond with anyone. That’s probably what darkened his heart a lot faster. He’s lived for centuries, and still doesn’t understand friendship, and love. I don’t ever want that kind of existence.”

Meeting up with her parents, Emma saw that everyone Dracula had turned was back to being human.

David, seeing his daughter and her boyfriend, eyed Killian with scrutiny. “Are you back to your normal self?”

“Aye, I’m back to my usual extraordinary self.” Killian grinned.

“I’m so glad that you both are alright.” Snow hugged Emma and Killian. “It’s a relief that the theory that everyone would be human again once we got rid of Dracula was right. He is gone, right?”

Emma nodded. “Nothing but dust. We won’t have to worry about him anymore.”

“Now we’ll only have to worry about the next villain who will pop up in this town.” David sighed “But, that’s a worry for another day. Today, we celebrate our victories.”

“I think we should get Henry, and Regina, and have burgers and milkshakes at Granny's,” Snow proclaimed.

Everyone was in agreement and headed out to do just that.

No surprise, Henry demanded to know every detail of the epic battle. He was eager to write down another installment of his family’s heroic wins.

“That Dracula didn’t know who he was messing with.” Granny said as she brought their plates of food. “Emma would never want to become a vampire. She would have to give up onion rings.”

“And chocolate milkshakes.” Emma added, grabbing hers from the trey. “The idea of being a vampire was not nearly as tempting as Dracula thought it was.” She looked at Killian. “The trade would have certainly been a downgrade.”

A couple of nights later, when Henry was again staying at Regina’s, Emma decided to surprise Killian with a game of dress up.

Killian walked into their bedroom and stopped suddenly. His beautiful Emma was wearing an interesting set of clothes.

“It’s called a cheerleading outfit.” She explained. “I thought after slaying vampires it was appropriate. Technically, I am a vampire slayer now.”

Killian recalled Emma and Henry showing him a television play about a teenage girl who was called a slayer and fought monsters. He had thought there were many similarities to the girl on screen and the woman he was in love with, and had told Emma so. Of course Henry had loudly agreed with him and she had been greatly flattered.

She swayed her hips as she moved to him. “Do you want to reenact some of the scenes from the show?”

Killian knew just what scenes she had in mind. “Just as long as we’re not doing every scene in its entirety, I don’t want to explain to your father why our house has crumbled down around us.”

I mean…how much time do you have?😏✨ In no particular order:

1) Zoro x Nami (One Piece)

I‘ve been in love with their dynamics from the very beginning: the navigator and the one with no orientation skills whatsoever. Orange and green. They bicker like an old married couple, but respect and trust each other blindly. It started out with Zoro protecting Nami from Buggy’s crew, her helping him out during fights but I fell head over heels for them once the Arlong Arc came around: he read her like a book and trusted her enough to make a point. That sealed the deal. Then he watched over her while she was ill and from there one I noticed how he always looks out for here, making sure she is safe🥺🧡 Just ✨They just make sense to me.

2) Damon x Elena (TVD)

I actually don’t recall when I started to ship them. It must have been slowly, just before the „fake“ kiss happened when Katherine came back, somewhere between their banter and low key flirting. I think I fell for this ship because of the factor Damon. Him being fiercely loyal and desperate to get Katherine back, only to realize she never loved him and then falling in love with his brother‘s girl. AGAIN. The tragedy and the tension whether Elena would fall for him too, made this so fun to watch. The final nail in the coffin was when he told her, he loved her but compelled her to forget. Oh, and of course the dance…

3) Sookie x Eric (Sookie Stackhouse Novels)

The moment Sookie laid eyes on Eric for the first time and him shamelessly flirting with her in front of Bill, I was a goner. Bill always gave me an ick feeling. I just never understood why Sookie was interested in him apart from the fact that she couldn’t hear his thoughts. In the books there was always a spark whenever Sookie and Eric met. I liked that Eric was down for anything as long as it involved Sookie (going undercover to an orgy for example), that he was always (brutally at times) honest with her, that he protected and cared for her no matter what. He respected her decisions. There were no silly games between them. As far as vampire feelings for humans go in this universe, I do think he loved her deeply. As for her: she loved him too but also knew that it would never end well. Such a sassy, sexy ship.

4) Captain Jack Sparrow x Elizabeth

One if my original all-time favourite ships. The sparrow and the swan. I liked their dynamics in CotBP but grew obsessed with them during DMC. Her being restricted by society’s expectations of her and him being the adventurous, clever pirate she had already read about. I mean pleeeeeaaase: the themes alone! She longs for freedom. He and his lifestyle are the definition of freedom. She has a fierce and untamed nature just like the sea. He is in love with the sea. I think Jack brings out her true self just like she brings out his. She matches his scheming talent but I always thought Elizabeth to be more ruthless than Jack. I don’t know what I expected but her ending up alone on an island, married and back in the corset was not it.

5) Hermione x Draco (Harry Potter)

Another one of my original ships. The muggle born and the son of an old wizard family, who hate muggle borns and are/were loyal to the Dark Lord. The drama, tension and potential storylines with this setup is off the charts. I think I fell for them once the 3rd movie came around. That slap and Hermione urging Hagrid to take Draco to the Madam Pomfrey was pure gold for my shipper heart. I started to get obsessed with them when I read the 4th book as they stumbled upon him during the world cup. I always and forever will read this scene as Draco warning them about the dangers of the Deatheaters disguised as his typical insults. There were both lines in the movies as well as in the books that always made be believe that Draco might have had a crush on Hermione at some point. I was waiting for a redemption arc in the last book which never happened. I also always thought that Hermione needed a partner who matched her intellect to be truly fulfilled and who appreciated her Slytherin traits (cunning, ambition).

6) Sakura x Kakashi (Naruto)

So, this is a complicated one. He is 14 years her senior and her sensei. That is problematic. I didn’t ship them when she was a child. BUT: I liked the idea of them, if the circumstances were different (same age or time travel AU). Kakashi seemed to appreciate her intelligence and her talent for chakra control. He never made her feel weak and he always protected her the best he could. During Shippuden his reaction was always shown when Sakura suffered because of Sasuke. And Kakashi looked rather heart broken and sad for her. He watched over her and cared for her during the last battle. The incredulous (at times murdering) look he gave Sasuke when he mistreated Sakura was glorious. His whole mission was to make sure she survived. So, yeah, if the circumstances were different…also the hand on the cheek is canon🥺 Sakura deserved someone who appreciated her love and loyalty.

7) Claire x Jamie (Outlander)

What I liked about this couple right away (in stark contrast to Frank to whom Claire is married to) was their back and forth, the easiness with which they held conversations with each other and the pure fun they had while doing so. They played off each other without any hassle. Just two people with the same intellect, temper and the same humour hitting it of. This combined with the twist that Claire is the experienced one in all sexual and romantic matters while Jamie is the virgin was absolutely addictive. They just matched. Their chemistry was off of everything that is considered holy.

6) Hannibal x Will Graham (Hannibal)

At first I enjoyed their strange friendship, which quickly turned into mutual respect. May it be due to the actors or how the scenes between them were written but the chemistry was wild right from the beginning. The classical seduction to the dark side trope with a twist: Will is actually just like Hannibal and fights against the urge to kill but actually understands killing. To him just like to Hannibal it makes sense to kill. It even is beautiful. That dynamic hooked me from day one. The back and forth of their ideals. I think Hannibal was rather quickly aware of his feelings for Will. The fact that Will at first rejected him and his whole being but in the end fell for him as well, was fascinating to watch. Just pure and raw.

8) Jaime x Brienne (A Song of Ice and Fire)

I love the tropes surrounding this couple: him, beautiful on the outside but ugly inside and her, ugly on the outside but the heart of a true knight inside. Beauty and the best. Their banter and clash of ideals is what attracted me to them (as well Jaime trying to get a reaction out of Brienne with his constant insults and borderline teasing). The way Jaime unknowingly started to grow a soft spot for the wench and slowly opened up to her, losing his hand (his identity as one of the best swordsmen) to protect her virtue all led to the best scene between them: the bath in Harrenhal. I fully shipped them afterwards. It‘s hard to imagine that Jaime had ever been this vulnerable with anyone but his brother before. He keeps on protecting her and she reminds him of his oaths. Just beautiful ✨

9) Buffy x Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

I was so obsessed with them at some point in my life — it wasn’t healthy anymore. First because of the ridiculous sexy way Spike played around with Buffy as his next slayer to kill. He was cunning and dangerous. Later because of how loyal, funny and good he was even without a soul. Him being a hopeless, awkward romantic while Buffy was straight to the point was a fun dynamic. In the later seasons I felt sorry for him because of how he was used and treated by Buffy but at least he got to go out like a true hero.

10) Beth x Daryl (The Walking Dead)

This was an unexpected one. I liked Daryl as a character but Beth was just a girl in the background who cut her arms. They were pushed together for a few episodes and because their views on life and their experiences were so different, it created this interesting dynamic. Somehow they worked. Daryl helped her get stronger and Beth helped him to deal with his emotions. She was innocent. He was rugged and beaten down by life. There was something delicate between them that was never allowed to grow.

13) Rae x Finn (My Mad Fat Diary)

Just two nerds obsessed with Oasis and each other. Typical teenager drama. Because of her seize and her body and mental issues Rae doesn’t think she deserves Finn or that he is even interested in her. She convinces herself to the point that she gives her v-card to another guy around her body seize. Finn on the other hand has already decided that he likes Rae and is all cute and touchy with her. The cuteness of their relationship and Finn‘s straight forward „Idk what your problem is but I like you just the way you are“ endeared me to this couple. Also Rae is hilarious.

14) Asoka x Rex (The Clone Wars Series)

Another problematic ship due to her being his superior and him being (at least) physically older when they were first introduced to each other. I think it‘s the fact that Order 66 looms on the horizon and all the drama and heartbreak that comes with it, what got me into this ship. Asoka transforms from an insecure padawan who gets her squad killed into a formidable force user and along the way she earned Rex‘ respect. Plus I‘m a sucker for how fierce she gets every time Rex is in trouble/attacked. They protect and care for each other and if they weren’t Jedi and Clone I could totally see them as a power couple.

I'm all for instincts, maybe even imprinting being more pronounced in this world than ours. Adoptions are not just accepted but expected, and parental and protective instincts are stronger. Perhaps everyone has Talon-like claws for preening and a better grasp. When instincts are high, people may chirp, coo, hiss, or rumble at each other. I'm guessing children are more prone to making noises involuntarily. On more than one occasion, Shanks has been known to call at Mihawk when drunk. It's hilarious how red his face gets, especially if Mihawk calls back.

But yes shiny is a given big shiny little shiny all the shiny! I already have the head canon that Mihawk’s necklace was a gift from Shanks in this au that just means it has a double meaning.

Mihawk has so many rare coins, Shanks found rocks, and jewelry, and soft clothes; he's practically drowning in them. He, of course, is not immune to the pull of giving shiny things to his flock, so he starts giving Shanks weapons taken from his fallen enemies, gems he happened to find, and, Oh, here's a few million Berri silks I bought on a whim. And then it hits him – he's courting Red-Haired Shanks. Shanks, on the other hand, just thinks he's integrating Mihawk into his flock. It's cool; he's done this plenty of times before. But see captain goes and steals an earring worn by a Celestial Dragon because he thinks Mihawk would like it, it isn't just integrating! (Benn is so done; he needs a raise... and more booze, and an even bigger raise – he can't keep dealing with his captain's love life; it's giving him grey hair.)

Maybe less dancing around like an idiot (though that would be funny as hell) and more subtle things, like fluffing up your feathers when someone you like is near or stretching them out doing feather flaps to show off how strong they are. Perhaps dancing is a big part of the culture, but more in a human style, with wing movements worked in. Maybe every culture has their different ideas of dances and what they mean maybe some are more reserved about it maybe some are more open, different cultures, each have a different type of marital dance some involving feathers, some involving beautiful dress, even some involving fire.  sometimes is gendered. Sometimes it isn’t… Oh, flying dancing! Like eagles! Two or more partners fly perfectly in sync and then embrace one another, kiss, and do the dive. A fall locked in an embrace, certain that your partner and you can be so in sync that you can leave the clasp at the exact same time! Its practically means to everyone and sundry that your married if you do it correctly, and don’t like die. Though it has mostly fallen out of fashion with in the blues the only ones who still do it is those individuals who are super traditional and or brave enough or grand-line pirates. Sometimes it can happen on accident though start flying with your partner start mimicking there motions next thing you know instinct takes over and your doing a swan dive off a cliff. Most of time this doesn’t happen but it has and it can.

The dive of Mihawk and Shanks happened at the weirdest, craziest, but very 'them' time. They were both fending off a bunch of marines who'd decided to take them on after one of their many duels, thinking they'd be weaker. They were wrong, very wrong, and now two very pissed-off pirates are slaughtering them. It's not that easy; there's probably a vice admiral or two there, but Mihawk and Shanks are still obviously winning the battle. Eventually, it becomes an aerial brawl, and both of them slowly become more and more  in sync with one another, one heart, one body, four wings, and two swords. Mihawk thrusts, Shanks blocks, Shanks parries, Mihawk ducks. It's a deadly dance, all their own, created in seconds from years of dueling, fighting, and knowing each other backwards and forwards. They fight and they dance, and they win. Then comes the adrenaline high, the after-rush of battle. Covered in blood, sweat, and wounds, practically delirious with blood loss, they embrace, they kiss, and they dive off a fucking cliff. They manage to catch themselves before they hit the ocean, of course, but immediately both of them are torn into by Ben, for getting yourselves almost fucking killed. Gods and devils, congratulations on getting married, but fucking never ever do that shit again.

Skyscraper Softie: Never Again

Here it is folks! The alternate route for Skyscraper Softie starring Mina. I will go over the differences between it and the normal route mostly on a different post. For now let's get started.

Mina decides to visit Kafka at the hospital on the night he would transfer. A chance taken upon recognizing her oldest friend and having some spare time for today. Mina hears Kafka mutter 'Kaiju' so she lunges over immediately only to see a tail alongside a tiny leg disappear down his throat.

She also tries to stop the panicking man from swan diving out the window but the sudden burst of kaiju strength allows him to slip away. You can bet your ass Mina immediately froze once Kafka had finished transforming. Also yes she joins Reno in the impromptu escape out of the city.

Mina couldn't exactly be spotted by hospital staff or patients as it's pretty obvious on what they would ask her to do. Kill the giant Kaiju aka Kafka. That doesn't mean she called for a very impromptu rendezvous with her most trusted comrades like Hoshina Soshiro.

Mina knows she can't keep Kafka's condition hidden forever and the safest place for him is under Defense Force jurisdiction. A choice he completely understood thus the man allowed himself to be taken in under heavy sedation. This particular incident can considered one of the few instances that manage to stun the DF.

A Kaiju type able to turn humans into kaiju? Preposterous. Yet the DNA samples from the newly dubbed No.8 and Mina's testimony was terrifying proof. Kafka was given one month to prove he could retain control of himself for the chance to live. A test the man successfully passes.

Now Kafka is managed by the Third Division with Mina and Soshiro serving as his designated keepers. Since the place is pretty good distance away from civilization, he has some roaming room until a proper enclosure for him can be built. Tests are a given with Mina or Reno(given an intern role) always present to provide emotional support.

Kafka isn't as isolated from people like in the other route. It doesn't mean he's avoiding any unfriendly individuals in the Defense Force. Due to how protective Mina is of Kafka, officers often call him "Captain's Pet Dragon" or "Ashiro's Beast".

He tries to not it bother him. Kafka's diet nowadays consists mainly of raw meat such as Kaiju/Honju/Yoju. Although the Rookies, Mina and Soshiro often sneak him human food whenever they can. His ability to transform into human form alongside creating avatars is also tested. (Canon form and 7 inch skull faced lizard.)

Kafka's smaller lizard model has been employed quite often to gather evidence on corruption inside the Defense Force. You can thank some of the more inhumane treatment he gotten by some members and pettiness from that. (His captains rubbed off on him.)

Mina is super protective of Kafka and definitely uses her position as his handler to the fullest. There are quite a number of people who wish to have a 9.8 fortitude Kaiju under their commander ignoring the details. She has blocked certain experiments like keeping a lizard clone from rejoining the man's body after an extended time.

(Do know if this experiment went through then Skully would be created as a clone separated for too long would restructure into its own being. A rebirth of sorts that is fully completed upon attaining a different DNA set from someone by blood sample or physical contact. Like Soshiro/Mina. I'll do a Skully edition on a different post.)

Kafka does get employed on missions but which form he's allowed to use differs. If the Kaiju in question is huge such as the Mushroom Honju then his true form is utilized. Otherwise an avatar is only allowed to be deployed.

Kafka does send out an avatar during the Entrance Exam incident and First Mission. The former gets him scolded by Mina as they knew who the fortitude 9.8 belonged too. Luckily it was for a good reason since she has to bat away any opportunities or chances that could get him taken away.

Mina already lost Kafka once after joining the Defense Force. No way in hell is she gonna lose him again even if he's now a skyscraper sized softie. Thankfully there are a lot of people who agree with her on that sentiment.
